As difficult as it is for me to come to grips with this myself, this very thing has probably ended my Papillon, Tantrum's, agility career. Over a year ago she wrapped a metal jump too tightly at a trial and hit the side of her face very hard on the metal jump cup. She stood in the ring squeaking and holding a front leg up. I picked her up and carried her out of the ring, with her still squeaking.
